man or superman ...who's better

One of my frnds wrote abt the many roles he has to play these days and how frustrating it makes him to get himself up and running on evry one’s expectations…whoa must be hard right, me I have no idea enjoying my rest days , but it did give me a thought !!!

Jus suppose THE GUY IN THE PERFECT WHITE ATTIRE COMES DOWN FROM HEAVEN (GOD) and asks you “DUDE WANT SOME SUPERPOWERS ,NO QUESTIONS ASKED AND THE ONLY CONDITION DO NOT USE IT IN EVIL WAYS NOTHIN ELSE “ so would you take him on this offer ??????

If its my choice I would probably say NO, you ask why b’coz

-          I don’t look good in tights

-          I lyk to have coffee or movie wit my girlfriend without having to worry abt somebody kidnapping her

-          My drawing and sewing are very poor …so jus think abt the uniform

-          Finally I would lyk to use my brain than brawn ,all a superhero does is beat up villains while a villain surely uses his brain to come up wit new schemes.

And god doesn’t give fine prints in his agreement but surely does give you a guilty conscience in the form of people you love doubts!!! Ask spiderman, he could have become a pro wrestler or a world famous scientist but no he listens to his dying uncle’s famous words “with great powers come great responsibilities” and becomes spidey while whining about how he lost his girlfriend waaa waa waa…..

So I would like to be a man and do those thousand roles while being me and enjoying the difference in each role lyk taking my girlfriend for a coffee or movie without having to wear tights and b’coz these roles in the long run make those fond memories on which we laugh wen we r sittin with the people in our lives..

So seriously if u ask me I would rather be human and do a hundred different roles than be a superman and do the same thing daily(i.e thrashing villans)….but what would you do????

As for the people who think y I wrote this…the answer is simple I have no other work to do so im borin you in my free time (one of the few hundred roles of mine)

corruption,Hazare and the great land of india

Seen the surf excels adv. Lately “DAAG ACHE HOTE HAIN”…..Nice ad to start with & does instill people with all the things that MR.KOTLER wrote in his book and our profs tried to teach us through the the long hard two years in classrooms(well hard for them)…but the best thing the ad did is or may be our politicos got it all wrong with the tag line “daag BLAH BLAH” they thought may be making the scams come out make them famous and then all sorts scams started coming out in the open and INDIA came to be known as THE LAND OF SCAMS from THE LAND OF CULTURE AND all other stuff (basically all good stuff)…..but that is toh fully world famous in INDIA..and it did make them famous too....

Sorry went to get my glass filled.. So now where we were…..politico’s right and now one man stands for the 1.14 billion ppl to fight corruption and we support him but how?????

And yeah I just joined the fight against corruption and you know its very easy just sit infront of your lappy and click on join button in the “INDIA AGAINST CORRUPTION” in facebook’s community section while a single man of 65 years sits in the scorching heat of DELHI fasting for days and fighting for a india free of corruption that 1.14 billion people of India also want, along with the politicians who come on the TV every day and shout how squeaky clean they are but will not pass a bill which can prove them clean ..its lyk me saying im the topper in my class but I won’t give an exam to prove it just  bcoz maybe  I know what will happen when I give the exam…well lets leave the politicos here ,wat about the common ppl or basically us aren’t we the ppl who are spreading the so called “keeda” of corruption, paying a clerk to get our work done faster or without any fuss…and then we come home and blame the system or swear to change the system ..so if you come to think about it at the end of the day we the come ppl start corruption for our ease which then other ppl use for their advantage jus lyk FRANKENSTEIN which killed its own creator ..

So the statement I wanna make here is just joining a community on facebook or burning candles in support of Mr. HAZARE goin to fight corruption…well In my thoughts it’s a “no” but it sure will help in wasting a lot of wax and generating a lot of CO₂ in the atmosphere and killing the planet faster but not killing corruption sadly and this doen’t mean I  don’t appreciate these efforts but how about try in a little of Mr. HAZARE’s Ideas in day to day lyf  like fighting corruption on personal front i.e not payin any extra money to anybody for getting a work done faster and start a little early so that work gets done on tym and reporting the guys who harass us or want us to indulge in corruption as the famous proverb says “THINK GLOBAL ACT LOCAL”…. On a personal front I am tryin to abide by MR. HAZARE’s teching …bcoz “every little thing helps” but the question is does every Indian will abide by the same thoughts bcoz we know joining a community is just a trend which ppl will eventually forget…so the question is what will u do really???? Wait for ANNA HAZARE’S next andolan or help him on his mission by working on a personal front bcoz he showed us what one person can do when he is determined.

War stories what’s that????

My blog’s name

You blogging !!! is it on wars ??? yeh saala pagal ho gaya girlfriend nahi milee na..chal gay dost se toh blogger dost hi accha hai…….

Ha ha ha ha ha ha

YES the names uncanny  for a blog post but then if u seen the names ppl put on the web, for e.g RAINBOW NINJA , mines way better, but the name gave an idea to most PPL  I was writing about serious issues of war in Iraq or kargil, NO OFFENCE  but its not my type.

So I was thinking of blogging and as usual all the good names were taken and I didn’t want mine saying   ROOF TOILET, THE KING OF BITCHES or TEE HEE. So I dropped the idea till I found a great name and after brainstorming and doing all the other methods they teach us here in the course of MANAGEMENT, I slumped and postponed the idea till the day I got “war stories” and found out wat it means…

HERE’S PRESENTING MY FIRST BLOG ON HOW THE NAME CAME INTO BEING “WAR STORIES”

Exams were a weekend ahead, no classes and being a responsible student I was, I was sleeping @ 9 in the morning (thanks to the previous nights movie bash which went till 4 in the morning) ,when my phone beeped  with sleepy eyes I opened D message and sulked again as it read “seminar at 9:30,everyone compulsory 2 attend ,H.O.D’s instructions,CR”. I cursed the poor chap 4 breaking my sweet slumber but then he was not the guy who wasted the last night watching movies in the name of exam preparation, I was. Finally I got up at 9:15, finished the essentials within 10 min’s (engineering day’s teachings) got my IPod and started towards the seminar hall with a plan (plug the iPod in and let the guy talk), well that’s what we did all the time

On reaching the hall, enquired abt what is the seminar and as usual nobody had the single notion of idea. At sharp 10 (Indian punctuality) The guy came in and after all the usual technical stuff, the presentation starts and the first question “y r u all here 2 day??” and our usual answer “attendance sir”.

Well what happened next is he didn’t give his usual presentation but discussed with us about our life’s road maps in the years to come ..the iPod remained in the pocket this time and in this course of discussion which i sadly admit i enjoyed he came up with some MBA jargons …one of them was “war stories” and the meaning “its defines the various stories that occur in a persons day to day life in the workplace” the meaning tingled my brain…so I thought why not name my blog war stories after all our life’s  R stories on a day to day basis, some time interesting ,other times boring.... but that’s what altogether makes it interesting..
